The plant is up and running again. We were able to get things patched together and operational after about 33 hours of down time. Not too bad for having to have a part hand delivered from Texas. Also, we had to completely reconfigure this system. The proper configuration of this system is crucial. Serious damage to very expensive components can occur if the configuration is not correct.
This event has brought the idea of vendor lock in and control back to the front of my brain. I will have more to say about it in another post.
